Institute Of Clinical Research Admission: The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) is a member-led organization that supports professionals working in clinical research, both in business and non-profit settings. For over 50 years, it has provided quality training, networking, and support to the clinical research community. Originally founded as the Association for Clinical Research in the Pharmaceutical Industry (ACRPI),the ICR is now excited to partner with the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT). This collaboration will offer specialized clinical trial training to equip staff with the skills needed to conduct high-quality research, as emphasized in the O’Shaughnessy report.

The ICR is governed by a Board of volunteer members who guide its direction, while the ICR Office handles daily operations. The Office ensures that the goals set by the Board and members are achieved and manages routine tasks essential to running the organization. Together, they work to support the clinical research community and promote excellence in the field.
