Himalayan Institute of Medical Sci Admission: The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) in Uttarakhand is the first medical college in the state and offers a Ph.D. program in medical sciences. It has excellent facilities, experienced faculty, and a 1200-bed hospital for students to learn clinical medicine. The campus is green and Wi-Fi enabled, with a library providing access to thousands of journals. HIMS trains medical teachers from several states and offers MBBS, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs recognized by national bodies.
