Himalayan Institute of Medical Sci Admission: The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) in Uttarakhand is the first medical college in the state and offers a Ph.D. program in medical sciences. It has excellent facilities, experienced faculty, and a 1200-bed hospital for students to learn clinical medicine. The campus is green and Wi-Fi enabled, with a library providing access to thousands of journals. HIMS trains medical teachers from several states and offers MBBS, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs recognized by national bodies. Its aim is to produce compassionate doctors who are skilled, ethical, and responsible to their patients and community.
