Government Law College Mumbai Admission: The Government Law College (GLC),established in 1855, is the oldest law college in Asia and is known for its excellence in legal education. It has a rich history and has been guided by many famous legal experts like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Justice M.C. Chagla, and others who have served in India’s top courts. The college has produced notable alumni, including five Chief Justices of the Supreme Court, former President of India Ms. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, and former Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Lal Krishna Advani. These graduates have made significant contributions to law, judiciary, and society. GLC continues to grow with modern facilities like an annexe building with additional classrooms and a library.
