GACOE Hyderabad Admission: Ghulam Ahmed College of Education was established in 1985 to train teachers through B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses. Named after the famous Indian cricketer Ghulam Ahmed, who also served as Honorary Secretary of the Sultan-Ul-Uloom Education Society and later as BCCI secretary, the college is affiliated with Osmania University and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC),earning an A+ grade in 2022-23. The college emphasizes both theory and practical training, with B.Ed. students completing 120 days of teaching practice in city schools and M.Ed. students conducting research on educational topics.

The college has a strong record of academic success, with six students securing the top rank in Osmania University in the past. Many students regularly appear in the university’s top ten merit list, and between 2018 and 2020, all B.Ed. and M.Ed. students passed their exams with a 100% pass rate. The college continues to focus on improving education quality and producing skilled teachers.
