Dr. Ambedkar College, Admission: Dr. Ambedkar College of Commerce and Economics, started in 1972 by the People’s Education Society founded by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, is located in central Mumbai, near Wadala. The college aims to provide higher education to underprivileged students, especially from SC, ST, and other backward communities. Affiliated with the University of Mumbai, it offers courses in Commerce at junior and degree levels, along with professional and postgraduate programs like B.Com (Banking and Insurance),B.Sc (IT),M.Com, and Ph.D. With over 7,000 students, the college also encourages overall student development through various activities and has good sports facilities.
