DN Bhatt Vaishnav College Admission: Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women was started in 1968. It began with a gift of 10 acres of land from the late founder Shri Nanalal Bhatt and a donation of 6 lakhs from Cork Industries Charities Trust. The college is named after Shri Bhatt’s wife, Smt. Devkunvar. It is the first women’s college in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. The current chairman, Smt. Mamta D. Bhatt, is a strong and energetic leader with many new ideas that she works hard to make happen.
