D J Academy of Design Admission: DJAD was established in 2004 to address India’s lack of skilled designers as the demand for design services grew. Inspired by a visit to the National Institute of Design, Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu and PAR Kumar founded DJAD under the GKD Charity Trust to promote design education. Located in Coimbatore, a city known for its industries and pleasant climate, DJAD is part of Design Gurukul, an eco-friendly 24-acre campus near the Western Ghats. It attracts students from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, offering them a vibrant environment with universities, colleges, and industries nearby to support their learning and creativity.
