Dum Dum Motijheel College Admission: This college is known for its commitment to academic excellence, skill development, and character building. It helps students succeed in their chosen fields. It is one of the top educational institutions in West Bengal, inspiring and guiding young people to face the challenges of today’s world. Since it was established on August 28, 1950, the college has focused on creating knowledgeable individuals by providing quality education to students from all kinds of backgrounds. It also encourages them to become responsible citizens and good human beings. The college operates in two shifts: a Morning Shift, which is for women only, and a Day Shift, which is coeducational (for both men and women). Both sections are managed from offices located in the Golden Jubilee Building.

With 22 departments, the college offers Honours courses in 15 subjects. It has a team of 92 teaching staff, including full-time, part-time, contractual, and guest teachers, along with 56 non-teaching staff who handle administrative and technical tasks. The college has nearly 3,000 students and is recognized as one of the largest government-sponsored colleges in West Bengal. Additionally, the college offers postgraduate programs in M.Sc. Mathematics and M.A. English, affiliated with West Bengal State University (WBSU). By introducing several new job-oriented subjects, the college has taken a big step forward in its mission of overall growth and development.

(DDMC) Dum Dum Motijheel College Admission 2025–26: The Dum Dum Motijheel College offers three-year B.Sc. Honors or B.Sc. General degrees in various disciplines. The candidates who want to be admitted to the college must have passed the 12th grade. The selection to UG courses is based on the merit list, which considers the marks obtained by the candidates in secondary school, and the top four subjects' marks will be considered. The college will start the admission process for session 2025–26 in the month of July 2025, tentatively.
