Dayanand Woman Training Admission: Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan, a well-known group working for education in India, started the Dayanand Women’s Training College in Dehradun in 1961 at 29 E.C. Road. After three years, in 1964, the college moved to its permanent location at 6 Curzon Road, Dalanwala, Dehradun, where it still stands today.

This college trains young women to become good teachers. Late Smt. Dhara Rani, wife of Dr. Virendra Swaroop, supported the college throughout her life. Now, under the caring leadership of Mr. Manvendra Swaroop, the college continues to grow and provide quality teacher education to young women.
