The institution began in 1957 in a rented building in Sion, Bombay. In 1960, it made significant progress by purchasing a large piece of land, about 17,000 square yards, in Vile Parle West, Bombay. Over time, they built a big complex there. This complex now houses the Smt. Chandaben Mohanbhai Patel Homeopathic Medical College, the Shree Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital, and the Dr. A. D. Edal Behram Girls Hostel.
