CIME Odisha Admission: The College of IT and Management Education (CIME),which was earlier called the Centre for IT Education (CITE),started on 4th August 2000. It was set up by the Orissa State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd., a government enterprise in Odisha, under the Electronics and Information Technology Department. The goal was to provide professional courses in IT and Management.The College of IT and Management Education (CIME),which was earlier called the Centre for IT Education (CITE),started on 4th August 2000. Later, on 1st February 2006, the Government of Odisha decided to take over CIME and make it part of the Industries Department. Since then, it has been running as a Constituent College of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) on a self-sustaining model.
