CBGKM Admission: Chandra Bhanu Gupta Agriculture Post Graduate College, established in 1995 in Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh),was named after former UP Chief Minister Chandra Bhanu Gupta to support local farmers. Founded by social worker Bhagavati Singh, the college started under Kanpur University (now Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University) and later joined Lucknow University in 2009. Spread over 5 acres, it has modern facilities like labs, a library, sports areas, hostels, and a gym, with CCTV security. Its 50-acre farm grows crops (wheat, rice),raises animals, and runs a fishery for hands-on learning, while also helping nearby villages improve farming. Students here have topped state exams, and graduates work in top government and private jobs, making the college proud of its role in shaping successful careers in agriculture.
