Bijoy Krishna Girls College Admission 2023-24: Bijoy Krishna Girls College, Howrah, was founded in 1947, and at that time, the name of the college was Howrah Girls College. The college was then renamed after its founder principal, Sri Bijoy Krishna Bhattacharya, after his demise. The college was started with a dream to provide good quality higher-level education to Howrah and West Bengal girls.
The BKGC college provides admission to numerous courses so that every candidate will have the chance to choose the right course for them. There are various undergraduate and postgraduate level courses; some of the specialized courses of this college are the BSc, BA, and BCom.
Bijoy Krishna Girls College has also started the admission to distance courses so that the candidates who can’t continue their education in the regular mode can complete their education. The college provides the DDE mode admission under Netaji Subhas Open University Bijoy Krishna Girls.

Students are seeking BA, B.Sc, and B.Com (Hons/Gen) for these courses they must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent Examination. If the applicant chooses to General courses then he/she achieves at least 30% marks. When candidate belongs to the reserved category they want to opt Honours course with a minimum 40% marks obtained.
