Baji Rout Memorial College Admission: Bajirout Memorial College was established in 1976 with the efforts of leaders like Mohanta Pradhan and Kailash Chandra Mohapatra, along with the support of many political figures over the years. Starting with Intermediate Arts under Utkal University, the college gradually expanded to include Intermediate Commerce in 1981–82, +2 Arts, Commerce, and Science by 1991–92, and +3 Degree courses in Arts and Commerce. Honours programs in History, Political Science, Education, Accountancy, Economics, and Philosophy were also introduced. In 2007–08, a Science degree program began with 64 seats, later increasing to 128 seats in 2016–17, along with Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Mathematics. The college has received financial help from the government, UGC, OMC Ltd., and other donors, allowing it to grow into a well-established institution offering Arts, Science, and Commerce at both +2 and degree levels.
