ASL Pauls College Admission:-Anna University, named after former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Annadurai, was established on September 4, 1978, in Chennai. It provides higher education in engineering, technology, architecture, and applied sciences to meet society’s needs while promoting research and industry connections. Its main campus is in southern Chennai, covering 189 acres near the Adyar River, with two other campuses at Chrompet and Taramani. Initially a unitary university, it became an affiliating university in 2001 to include all of Tamil Nadu’s engineering colleges, then switched back in 2010, and again became affiliating in 2012 to ensure uniform quality in engineering education. Today, Anna University has four department campuses, 13 constituent colleges, three regional campuses, and 593 affiliated colleges across Tamil Nadu.
