The college started with pre-degree classes and grew to offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in subjects like Physics, Economics, and Commerce. It is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University and has earned a B+ grade from NAAC. Over 12,000 students have graduated from the college and are now working in various jobs around the world. As part of its Ruby Jubilee, the college has planned several programs in academics, sports, and culture.
