A N S College, Patna Admission: Inspired by the great leader Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha, A.N. College in Patna was started in 1956 as an evening college to help working people study. It was first named Gardanibagh Tutorial College and later renamed A.N. College. In 1959, it moved to its current campus, which was built on land donated by the Patna Improvement Trust. The college has grown over the years and now has 24 undergraduate and 23 postgraduate departments. It offers both traditional and job-oriented courses like Biotechnology, MBA, and Environmental Science. The college is known for its research work and has received support from organizations like UNICEF and the UGC.
