On 12th February 1991 establishment of (MGCGV) Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot, Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya is by MP Government. MGCGV University has been given accreditation of Grade A by NAAC. The university is offering 50 PG and UG courses which come under 16 specific departments.
