Guru Nanak Dev University Distance Education: University Guru Nanak Dev (GNDU) was founded in 1969. In 2018, at its main campus in Amritsar, Punjab, GNDU set up the DED called Open & Distance Learning Directorate (ODL). The Category-I University of GNDU ODL was recognized by UGC. GNDU Distance Education Admission 2026-27

University provides distance and regular courses. University provides UG and PG courses in various subjects. University has well-known criteria for distance learning admission. For admission in UG distance courses candidates required the 12th class passing mark sheet from a recognized board.

For admission in the PG course, the candidate required the UG mark sheet in a relevant subject from a recognized university. The means of distance education is the candidate who not joins the regular classes is take admission in distance learning education. If the candidate is not passed the criteria then he/she not applicable for admission.

University has an online portal and offline mode for admission. Interested candidate can apply on the university site otherwise can take offline admission to the university campus. Candidates can pay the fee by using a debit card, credit card, cash, and by the demand draft. At the form submission time candidate needs to submit all required documents and registration fees. In offline form, the candidate collects the form from the university campus and university center. The candidate can do easy.

University provides the admit card to the students in hard copy. Students can download the admit card from the university's official website and can collect them from the university campus. If the candidate finds any correction in admit card then the candidate needs to update the department. University update about the student's details on the admit card as the name of the student, enrollment number, roll number, father's name and etc.

How to apply for Admission:

• Admissions are made via the website of the Institute by downloading the application form.https://online.gndu.ac.in/DODL.aspx
• For general and reserved category candidates, the application fee is 1200/-.
• In addition, B.Tech candidates will have to pay for advice an additional 2000/-.
• Send the completed form to the university address.
