HPCET 2024 exam will be conducted in the Offline mode. This Exam will be organized by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University which is conduct on the May 2024 Second week. Firstly the candidate must have the Registration for applying the Examination. Application Procedure will start from the month of March 2024 the second week.

Admission will be done on the basis of the Entrance Exam and JEE Main Scores. Valid Scorecard of JEE Main 2024 will be eligible for direct admission. 

Candidates who are registered and successfully fill the Application Form can download the Admit card. The duration of the Examination is 3 Hours and It will contain the Questions of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Steps To Fill The Application Form Of HPCET 2024

Step 1- Firstly fill the Registration Form with the help of personal details like Name, Username, Email address, Mobile Number, Date of Birth. After the process of Registration automatic generate an Application Number. 

Step 2- Login to the page with the help of Application Number, Password, and User Name. Fill in the details regarding the Personal Details, Academic Details, and Contact Details. 

Step 3- After filling the Application Form, Upload the required documents with them. Required documents are the Passport Size Photograph and Signature of the candidate.  

Step 4- If necessary Edited the details of the application form. 

Step 5- Candidate has to pay the application fee in the online mode with the help of a Credit/ Debit card and Net Banking and for offline mode through the PNB challan. 

Step 6- After paying the fee there is an open confirmation page. Download it and take the print out of the page. The printed HPCET 2024 Application form has to be emailed at the himtuadmission@gmail.com  Go and submit the Application Form at the office of “Controller of Examinations Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur (H.P.)-177001”.

Eligibility Criteria 

1. Candidate should have passed the 10+2 in Mathematics, Physics and one subject in these Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects with minimum 45% marks from a Recognized University and Board. 
2. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%. 
3. A candidate who has a valid score card of the JEE Mains 2024 examination is eligible for direct admission.

Information About The Admit card 

Candidates who will be complete their registration can download the Admit card. Normally, It will be published in the First Week of the month of May 2024. Admit card/ Hall Ticket will carry the information which are Exam venue, Exam Timing and Exam day, etc.

Admit card is the most important document for the HPCET 2024 examination. Without the Admit card candidate will be not allowed in the Examination Hall. With the Admit card candidate must have to carry the ID Proof.
Downloading process -

1. Go to the Download Link of Admit card. http://www.himtu.ac.in.
2. Enter the Application Number and Password.
3. Submit the Details.
4. Admit card will be shown on the screen.
5. After a check, the complete information downloads it and take the print.

What Is The Counselling Process 

Registration is mandatory for the Counselling process. Registration will start from the month of June the first week of the Counselling process. Candidates can select the course and Institute according to their preference at the time of the Counselling Process. 50% seats are reserved for the qualified candidates of JEE Main 2024 and 50% seats are reserved for the qualified candidates of HPCET 2024.
