SOFT CET 2024 School of Fashion Technology. SOFT CET is a university-level exam test that is conducted every year. For females Candidates who want to pursue their career in fashion design UG/PG and Diploma courses.

These courses are offered by the School of Fashion Technology (SOFT). The institute is a renowned designing institute that is supported technically by the NIFT institute.

The exam will be organized in the month of May 2024. The exam will be held on in 3 compulsory stages. For those candidates who want to appear in this exam, they will have to fill the registration form from the official website of SOFT.

It will be an online-based test, Studio Test/ Group Discussion, and a personal interview. There will be 60 questions asked in the question paper. The candidate will get 1 mark for each correct answer.

Candidates can get a maximum of 250 marks in all 32 stages. After completion, the entrance exam within 2 weeks result will be announced by the authority of SOFT.

Candidates who will be qualifying in the entrance exam will have to confirm their admission and needs to complete the admission procedure.

About The Application

The application form will be released in the month of November 2024 tentatively. The authority will release the application form through online mode. The candidate will have to visit the official website of SOFT. For appearing in the entrance exam candidate will have to fill registration form first.

Candidates who want to register for more than one course which is proved by the school of fashion technology then the students will have to fill a separate form of SOFT CET 2024 and need to pay the fee separately.

How To Fill Application Form?

• The candidate will have to visit the official website of SOFT.
• Now click on Register.
• To fill, the application form candidate needs to submit a few details such as the name of the candidate, date of birth, phone number, and email id and click on the submit button. Click here
• The candidate needs to upload recent passport size photographs and scanned them.
• The file should be in jpeg format. Before the final submit the candidate needs to check every detail carefully.

Confirmation Of Registration Form

After complete, The SOFT CET 2024 registration form candidate needs to confirm it. before submitting the form they should take a print out of it, it will use for further rounds of admission.

After complete, The successful registration and fee submit candidate will be given a registration number and password. With the help of the registration number and password, the candidate can log in to their id. After complete the registration, the authority will give the 20 practice question to candidates.

Application Fee SOFT CET 2024

After complete, The application process candidate needs to pay the fee. Candidates can pay the fee through online and offline mode. Candidates will have to RS-2800/ For every category of students.

The applicant can pay the fee through Debit Card/ Credit Card or by a computer-generated bank challan. The candidate will have to submit the necessary bank and payment details and need to submit it to the bank.

Eligibility Criteria

• For appearing in the entrance exam candidate must have 12th passed out with any stream from any recognized board.
• The candidate who wants to apply after the 10th class then they must have a 2-year diploma from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education state government.

Foreign Students And NRI

• Candidate must have a B-Design 2nd-year admission.
• The candidate must have a 5-year diploma in fine arts which is well known by the state technical board.
• The candidate who has successfully complete their 1st-year degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology is eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have a three-year diploma which is in a well-known board done by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Syllabus

The exam pattern will be similar to other state and national level exams for the particular courses. The SOFT CET 2024 exam will have questions that will test the candidate’s creativity and design-related skills.

The level of knowledge will be class 12th (10+2) or equivalent qualifying exam. There is no definite syllabus laid down by the college for the exam

SOFT CET Admit Card 2024

The SOFT will release the admit card through online mode. Only those candidates can download the admit card who had been filled the registration form successfully. The admit card might be released in the 1st week of May 2024 tentative.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of SOFT, PUNE. The institute will not provide a duplicate copy of the admit card either not send the hall ticket through offline mode such as by post.

The admit card will be one of the most important things for candidates. Without the admit card the institute will not be allowed to sit in the SOFT CET 2024 entrance exam.

The candidate needs to bring the admit card to the exam center along with the admitting card applicant needs to bring one id proof and one passport size photo. To download the admit card candidate will have to visit the official website and need to submit their registration number and password.

About The Result

After complete the entrance exam the institute will announce the result. The result will be announced through online mode. For download, the result card candidate needs to visit the official website of SOFT.

The candidate should take a print out copy of it for further use, After the announcement of the result the institute will prepare a merit list, it will be based on the performance of candidates in the SOFT CET 2024 entrance exam. For download, the result students will have to submit their roll number and password. The candidate needs to keep it safe till the admission process will not over.

SOFT CET Result 

Counseling Process 

After the announcement of the result, the institute will conduct the program of the counseling process. Through counseling, process candidate will be able to get admission to the SOFT institute. The Institute will start the admission process in the month of June 2024 tentative.

Those candidates who will be shortlisted for admission will get a notification through email. Within 4 days after releasing the merit list. The candidate will have to report to the institute campus at the given time and date to them.

The candidate will have to bring all original documents during the SOFT CET 2024 counseling process.
