Examination dates of PU LLB 2024 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Students must be passed graduation degree.
• SC/ST category students must have 45%  marks in Bachelor degree.
• General category students must have 40% marks in Bachelor degree.
• Those students who passed Masters degree from Punjab University are also eligible for PU LLB 2024 admission.
• Students those who done 10th and 12th, graduation degree through the Open University system they do not allow for admission.
• Students those who from abroad at the time of exam they will be exempted from the test.

How To Apply For Admission Of PU LLB 2024?

Before filling the application form the students first need to check all eligibility criteria the candidate is eligible or not for the admission. If the candidate not eligible to give the exam and fill the form than organization rejected the form from and give a notification on candidate registered email id and registered mobile number.

If the candidate eligible than visit on the university official website and open the registration link. For open the registration form the candidate need to make the account. After making the account the candidate get a login id and password. By using this login id and password the candidate can open the registration link. 

When the link open than registration form also open. Fill the application form with the all required information. The candidate needs to fill all details carefully and verified. No candidate will submit the PU LLB 2024 application form.

The candidate gets another option that pays the registration fee. University has the various mode to pay the fee like debit card, credit card, online net banking, cash and by demand draft also. University takes the INR 1100/- from the general category students and INR 550/- from the SC/ST candidates. 

With the application form, the candidate will also submit the required documents. These documents will be verified from the conducting organization side.

The candidate also uploads the passport size photographic application form. Without the photograph, the application acceptable but in admit cad the university not showing the photograph. Without photograph admit card the examination centre not provide the entry in the examination hall.

Application amount:-

General category students have to pay Rs 1100/-

SC/ST/BC category students have to pay Rs 550/-.

Application fees are non-refundable.

About The Admit Card 

Admit card will be delivered through the official website in the month of June 2024. Students have to enter their registration number, on the official website to the access admit card. Admit card will be available via online mode.

In admit card all details are mentioned which students are filled at the of registration. Without the admit card students are strictly not allowed to the PU LLB 2024 examination centre. If any mistake finds out by an examiner in the hall ticket they will not be allowed to the exam hall. If any mistake finds please correct before the exam. 

How To Download The Admit Card Of  PU LLB 2024?

STEP-1 Applicant has to via the official website.

STEP-2 Click on the link of admits card.

STEP-3 After that blank page will be shown on your screen.

STEP-4 Applicant has to click on the page.

STEP-5 Fill all the details related to the admit card such as registration number, roll number, password, date of birth, etc.

STEP-6 After that click on the submit button.

STEP-7 No mistake while the filling Registration number, Roll number, Date of Birth.

STEP-8 After that PU LLB 2024 admit card will be shown on your screen.

Examination Pattern 

• Punjab University will be holding their examination by the offline mode.
• The examination duration will be 1 hour 30 mins and extract 30 mins for handicapped students.
• 50 Multiple questions will be asked in the questions paper.
• In examination total number of marks will be  75.
• All questions asked for different topics such as English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Legal Reasoning.
• For wrong answer 1/4 will be deducted.
• The PU LLB 2024 examination will be conducted in three languages which are English, Hindi, Punjabi.

Syllabus 

Legal Aptitude

This is the most important section it tests the student's interest towards law, problem-solving ability, research skills, etc. In this section, students have to assess the given statement and bring out the logical answer as an outcome.

Logical Reasoning

It tests the candidate’s ability to identify the pattern, logical links and rectify arguments. In this section, questions are based on Sequences, Analogies, and Syllogisms, etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.

English Comprehension

This section will test the candidate’s proficiency in English based on comprehension Passage and Grammar. In the Comprehension section, they will be assessed on the understanding of passage given while, the grammar section focus on correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, fill in the blanks with the appropriate word, etc.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs

In this section, candidates will be assessed on their general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions will be based on current affairs.

The Result Of PU LLB 2024

After the successful conducting the entrance exam, the board of the examination publishes the result on the university official website. By using the Roll number and Date of Birth the candidate can check the result of the university.

Here are the steps to check the result-

• The test taker has to go through on the official website.
• Click on the link "result".
• After the click on the link and fill it with result details.
• Select the link of the result in the form of the notification bar.
• Now students have to enter their roll number, date of birth, registration number.
• Click on the submit button.
• The result will be displayed on your screen.
• students have to take some photocopy of the PU LLB 2024 result.

Cut Off list 2024

SC/ST/BC students cut off marks 11.25 out of 75. General category students cut off marks 15 out of 75. University makes the cutoff list according to the various factors these are how many candidate are appear in the entrance exam. University also checks the difficulties level of the examination. Cutoff of the previous years. seat availability and how many candidates clear the PU LLB 2024 entrance exam. 

The Merit list/counselling process

The result will be released along with merit list on the official website 2024. Those test taker name will be shown in the merit list they will automatically qualified for the counselling process. While seeking the merit list candidate have to enter their password and reg. number. Applicant those who clear the exam they will qualify for the next level.

The next level is the counselling process, there are two rounds first round is the group discussion and second is a personal interview. The first level of counselling depends on applicant strength and second level depend on applicant IQ knowledge. In the result/rank card must contains some details such as Applicant name, registration number, roll number, Date of birth, etc.

Those applicant name not visible that means they are not selected for the counselling process. Those who clear the counselling rounds they will surely get admission in various institutions. During the PU LLB 2024, counselling process applicant has to carry their original documents.
