Handique college admission form 2022-23: The last date to fill out the application form for the academic session 2022-23 is 25 August 2022.  The NAAC has accredited Handique Girls' College with an A-grade. Founded in 1939, Handique Girls' College is NAAC accredited. HGC offers bachelor's degrees in arts. Students will be admitted to Handique Girls' College, Guwahati, for 2022-23 into the First Semester of its Bachelor of Arts (BA) program, which is affiliated with Gauhati University. Handique College Admission Procedure

  1. Admissions into the College visit the official website
  2. Candidates are needed to fill in and submit the application form online by logging into the College website 
  3. An admission processing fee of Rs. 300/-shall have to be paid through net banking/ATM-cum-debit card/UPI/Credit Card only. The application submission process will have to be completed within the notified period.
  4. Admissions into the College are based strictly on merit. The College prepares a common merit list of all applicants for each course, and admissions are given on the basis of that list. 
  5. The College admits students in the Higher Secondary (Science and Arts streams),B.A/B.Sc Honours courses and B.A/B.Sc Regular courses and Post Graduate Courses in Assamese, Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology.
  6. Candidates securing 45%(in the General category) and 40% (Reserved category) in the qualifying examination can apply for admission.
  7. Candidates seeking admission into any Honours subject must secure 50%(General category) and 45% marks (Reserved category) in the subjects concerned in the +2 examination.
  8. In B.A/B.Sc courses, the Common Merit List is prepared based on the marks obtained in four subjects in the qualifying examination (HS or equivalent).
    • For B. Sc. course, marks obtained in English and the best three science subjects are considered.
    • For the B. A. course, marks obtained in English and the best three other subjects are considered.
