North Eastern Hill University Distance Education Admissions 2024-25

North Eastern Hill University was established in 1973 in Shillong. University provides the UG and PG courses in various courses in distance learning and regular courses. University has the different process for the regular courses and distance courses. In regular courses, the university has the online application and offline application. But for the distance learning the university has the online mode otherwise the candidate can take the admission in the university center. This center provides the admission in offline mode and online mode. University also provides the UG and PG courses in various subject avoid the technical courses in distance learning. University centers are responsible for all the required process.

University provides the study material in printed format. The university does not provide the study material in books format. University education center also provides the online study material and videos for the student's preparation. North Eastern Hill University does not provide any type of classes in distance learning education. The distance education means the study in correspondence courses, and this education is opened for those students who are not eligible for the regular classes. In distance education university not have the issue about the attendance. University also provides the distance education to those students who take the admission in any courses but some issues he/she does not continue the study and have the first years enrollment number the university provides the admission to these types candidate.

North Eastern Hill University Distance Education Admit Card 2024-25

• University has the all students admit card on the university official website. candidate can download from the site. 
• The candidate can take the admit card from the education center as well as the university concerned department before the examination.
• If the candidates find any correction in his/her admit card then immediately inform into concern department.
• Without admit card the university and university center not permit the students for the examination.
• In admit card, the university mentioned all information of the students including roll number and enrollment number.

How to Apply?

For the admission in distance courses, the university has some well-defined criteria. If the students are interested in UG courses than 12th passing mark sheet must be required. If candidates take the admission in PG courses than candidate must be required the UG courses degree in relevant subject from the recognized university with minimum 55% marks in graduation. The university provides the admission only eligible candidates. University does not provide the education in technical courses.
