Biju Patnaik University of Technology Admission 2024-25: BPUT is formed in the year 2002. BPUT provides education at the state level and is situated in Rourkela, Odisha. Its establishment is held under the Odisha State Legislature. BPUT aims to provide highly advanced education in the most renowned streams of study.  At present times, affiliated and constituent colleges of BPUT are 137 with a total of 100,000 students. BPUT has affiliations with Odisha and also from NIRF, AICTE, NBA, UGC, and PCI. Furthermore, it is listed in the NAAC's list of approved institutions.

Eligible candidates are also offered research-level studies along with UG and PG degree programs. Students are in the B-Tech, B.Pharm, B-Arch, BHMC, M-Tech, MCA, MBA, M-Arch, and other research programs. The disciplines in which all courses are taught are Engineering, Management, Architecture, pharmacy, and Computer.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology Admission 2024-25

BPUT will shortly open registration for its various study programmes. Admission to BPUT for B-Tech is based on JEE Main scores, whereas admission to B.Pharma is based on OJEE scores. NATA scores are used to determine B.planning and B.Arch admissions. The OJEE score is required for MCA and MBA programmes. Selections for Ph.D. programs are made using XAT, GPAT, GATE, NET, and other exams. The University will soon start the admission process for session 2024-25 for UG and PG Courses.

For admission to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, the student will take the entrance test separately for each course. If the student gets valid marks in the entrance test can take admission. For a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

• All interested students will check the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form. 
• The minimum eligibility for UG courses is that students should have passed class 12th examinations from the science stream with Physics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Mathematics, Language, and any other subjects from a recognized board. 
• Eligibility criteria for PG courses are that students should have done their Bachelor’s Degree with 55% marks from a recognized board. 
• Admission will be based on the Entrance Test score and merit in the qualifying exam marks.
