CEED 2024: Stands for Common Entrance Examination for Design and it also knows as CEED 2024. The CEED is held by IIT Bombay on January 22, 2024 (Sunday) for offering the admission to Masters of Design(M.Des) course provided by IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IITDM Jabalpur, IIT Delhi IIT Hyderabad, and IISc Bangalore. The institute was provided with all the information on the official website in the month of September 2022. The student must qualify CEED 2024 to get the admission in the above mention institutes.

CEED 2024 Details: The qualified student will get the admission to Ph.D. Courses in Design at IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, and IISc Bangalore. Almost 6,500 students will be appeared in the examination and around 1,000 student qualify in it. The qualified student is advised to appear in tests or interview which is conducted by the individual participating institutes. CEED 2024 will contain two parts one is Part A and other is Part B. The Part A student will be considered able to appear for Part B. CEED 2024 score will be valid for one year form the days of result announced (1st week of March).

Eligibility Criteria Of CEED 2024

CEED Eligibility Criteria: IIT Bombay publishes the eligibility criteria for applicants, who are looking to appear for the entrance exam. Check the details below.

The student must have passed a degree/postgraduate/diploma course of 4 years or 2+3 years in order to apply.
The student appearing in the final exam of such courses by July 2024 or those who have qualified GD Arts diploma program by 2024 will be considered eligible.
The candidate must be required academic mark sheet from a recognized university or board.

Note: There is no age limitation for taking the test and students can appear in CEED 2024 any number of times.

The Process To Fill The Application Form

CEED Registration Form: Eligible aspirants can fill the online application form of CEED 2024 from September 30 to October 21, 2022. The last date for making corrections in the application form October 22 to October 29, 2022.

Before filling the CEED 2024 application form, all the candidates are required to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. They are required to fill in their Professional and personal details in the application form.

After the CEED application filling process, the student has to pay the application fee as well.

Application Fee

The student can pay the application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking. CEED 2024 application fee will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

About The CEED 2024 Admit Card

The Hall Ticket of CEED2024 will be available for download from 13 January 2024, onwards.

The candidates can download the CEED 2024 admit card January 17, 2024 (till 5:00 pm) and it will be available for only those students, who have submitted their application successfully.

the student should take more than one colored printout of the admit card. Without admitting credit, no student will be allowed to enter the examination hall. All the candidates must carefully check all the information mentioned on the Admit card.

In case, they find any error in the particulars, they should report it to IIT Bombay for rectification by 17 January 2024.

Exam Pattern

Method of CEED 2024 Exam includes important details about the entrance exam such as the language of questions, the total number of questions, total time duration, marking scheme, and more. A student should be aware of the CEED 2024 exam pattern in order to have a fair idea well in advance.

The Feature Of The CEED 2024 Exam

The CEED 2024 will have two part-Part A and Part B.
Part A will be a computer-based test with Multiple Choice Questions.
CEED 2024 Part B will estimate the student on several factors such as writing, drawing, and designing. They will have to answer on the given sheet.
A maximum of 3 hours will get to complete this CEED 2024 entrance test. You must have to complete Part A in one hour, while the time allocated for Part B will be 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
Part A will be held for shortlisting students for Part B.
