TANATA 2024: Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test Architecture Which is known as a TANATA, is a Conducted state-level entrance exam organized by Anna University Candidates who want to get admission into B.Arch Degree Program into several colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Important Dates

Anna University is likely to release an official notification for TANATA 2024 in February 2024. This application form will be active till July 2024 tentatively. 

Filling Process Of Application Form 

Registration Process: Candidates who want to apply for the entrance exam will have to fill the application form first. Before reading the application candidate must have to read about eligibility criteria. After reading the eligibility criteria candidate will come to know they are eligible for appearing in the entrance exam or not.

The University will release the TANATA 2024 application form online mode. The registration form will be available on the official website of the University. Candidates can fill the application form expected from July 2024. Students will have to submit the application form before the last date of submission.

Ways To Fill The Application Form TANATA 2024.

• Applicants will have to visit the official website of the University.
• Click on the application form link.
• Students need to submit basic details such as the name of the applicant, date of birth, phone number, and email address.
• Need to set a password for your account for the completion of your registration.
• Log in to your account using the application number/User ID received and password. The candidate will receive their Application number at their registered email address.
• Enter all the personal and academic details required in the application form.
• Pay the TANATA 2024 application fees through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.
• Enter all the details required for the completion of the payment process via Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card.
• Upload recent passport size Photograph and Scanned signature (Maximum file size 50 KB each).
• Review the details in the entire form, make changes, if necessary, and click on the Submit button.

Application Fee: Those candidates who belong to the General category and the state of Tamil Nadu. They will have to pay Rs. 2,000/-

About The Hall Ticket/Admit Card

Students can download their TANATA Admit Card  2024 from the official website a few days before the entrance exam. Admit Card will not be sent to candidates via offline mode such as post/email.

The exam conducting body will issue the Admit Card only for those aspirants who will successfully submit the online application form. To download the Hall Ticket, aspirants are required to enter their Application Number and Date of birth. Steps to download the Hall Ticket are given below:

• Click on the link referred to Hall Ticket of TANATA.
• Enter your login details Application Number and Date of birth.
• Print the Hall Ticket on an A4 sheet.

The aspirant should take a printout of their Hall Ticket and keep it with them during the examination along with the photo identity card as identity proof, so they won’t face any problem while giving the exam. Aspirants are advised to preserve his/her Hall Ticket for till the admission procedure is over.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for TANATA 2024 Exam, all candidates must be aware of the set by the conducting body. It is compulsory for all the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the application form. After clearing the eligibility criteria applicant can apply for the application form. Here are the eligibility criteria:-

Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have passed the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• The minimum aggregate required is 50% in the qualifying exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• Candidates appearing in the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2024 may also appear in TANATA 2024 provisionally.
• Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks. OR
• Should have 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics.
• Possess an International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of the examination are also eligible to apply for the TANATA entrance exam.
• If the candidate does not fulfill these criteria then candidates not eligible for the registration form.

Details About The Result 

After complete the entrance exam the University will publish the scorecard within 2 weeks. The result card will be released in August 2024 tentatively. The university will publish the scorecard online mode. Candidates can download the result after entering their roll number and password. After a few days of the result card, the university will release the merit list. In this list, those candidate's names will be display who will be invited for admission procedure TANATA 2024.

Counseling Procedure

Counseling will be started after 2 weeks of the declaration of results. Only those candidates who will be shortlisted in the Merit List will be applicable for the counseling procedure.

Aspirants will have to check the official website regularly to get an idea about the schedule and Merit list for TANATA 2024. There is a verification process conduct in the counseling procedure and also the seat allotment process held. 

A counseling fee has to be paid by the aspirants at the time of attending the counseling. Seat Allocation will take place basis the ranks earned by the aspirants in the merit list and the availability of the seats.
