This University is located in Dehradun. Uttarakhand Technical University provides two types of education Technical courses as well as professional education.  Uttarakhand Technical University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. This university has many technical and professional colleges in Uttarakhand who affiliated with Uttarakhand University.

If the candidates to take admission in B.Tech then the applicant required to pass the JEE main entrance exams. And for the other courses applicant should require passing the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE). Some courses in this university are based on the merit of the qualifying exams.

In Undergraduate courses, Uttarakhand Technical University provides four professional courses B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, and BHMCT. For the graduation courses, the student must require passing the 12th standard. And student also takes admission in B.Tech and B.Pharma in the lateral entry.
