The Global Open University Admission 2024: It was established in 2006.  It is an open university for students. This university is situated in Nagaland. 

The Global Open University was founded by the fully sponsoring body President Dr. PR Trividi, President, World Institution Building Programme (WIBP),Reverend Dr. M.Motsuo Ngullie, Founding Father and the first Vice-Chancellor of the Global Open University Nagaland (2007-2008) is the witness signatory between the Government of Nagaland represented by Dr. Edward Lotha, Director of Higher Education.

The Global Open University is a Distance learning University and accredited by AICTE and UGC. University is a center of education in the north-east part. University offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses to students.

At the Undergraduate level University offers Bachelor of Social Work, BA, Bachelor of Hotel Management Travel and Tourism, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, B.Lib and BBA degree courses and at the level of Postgraduate university offers MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Lib, MCA, MBA, LLM, Master of Social Work, Master of Hospital Management, Master of Public Health, Master of Business Law degree courses.

The Global Open University also offers a Diploma and Advanced Diploma course to students. If any candidate is interested in the course, they apply through the Official website of the institute. For different courses, there is a different eligibility criteria. For Undergraduate courses, the candidate should have 10+2 with 55% marks from recognized and relevant universities, and for post-graduation courses candidate should have passed Graduation with 55% marks(10+2+3) from any recognized board.

The selection process is based on the entrance exam which is conducted by the university or merit of the previous qualifying examination. For Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Postgraduate Diploma candidates must have a graduation degree (10+2+3) with relevant subjects and equivalent qualification with 55% marks.
