Tezpur University Admission 2023-24: Tezpur University PhD admission 2023-24 notification released the last date for registration is 20 November 2023. Eligible candidates can apply for the Entrance exam registration before the last date and the University also accepts applications of those candidates who clear any of the exams UGC NET-JRF, UGC-CSIR, NET-JRF, UGC/CSIR, NET, GATE and are not admitted in any University are eligible to apply. 

Tezpur University's written entrance exam will be conducted on 30 November 2023. After that university will conduct interviews on 1 and 2 December 2023, and the University will release the selected candidates list on 15 December 2023.

Tezpur University offers PhD programs in various specializations in 4 departments like Chemical Science, Environmental Science, Mathematical Science, Food Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Business Administration, Hindi, English, Sociology, Mass Communication & Journalism etc. Eligible candidates can choose any of the following departments after clearing the entrance exam and Interview. 

The full form of a PhD is a Doctor of Philosophy. PhD admission is done based on the scores obtained in entrance exams such as UGC NET/CSIR UGC NET.  A PhD course is basically a three years course and students should take at most five to six years to complete the course.
