Rabindra Bharati University was established in  1962. Rabindra Bharati University is accredited by NAAC as an A grade & affiliated with UGC. Rabindra Bharati University Offers a Degree in [B. ed] Bachelor Of Education. The application form for the course was released in the month of March. Students are required to check the eligibility criteria of the course before applying for the admission. After selection in the course students need to appear for the interview an councelling round.

The Department of Education was established in 1985 in the University. Since then gradual development took place both qualitatively and quantitatively. At present M.A., & Ph.D. programmes are in operation. B.Ed. Programme (Secondary Education) is running in the Department under the recognition of the NCTE. The Department keeps a good touch with the local secondary schools to understand the progress and problems of secondary education and disseminate knowledge about modern practices to them.
