BHU MBA Admission 2026-27: Banaras Hindu University started the fresh MBA admissions 2026-2026 session the last date is 03 January 2026. University offering MBA, in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Administration International Business in different specializations.

The university conducts admission for 118 Seats in MBA & MBAIB in many specializations like Marketing, Human Resources Management, Finance, Global Business Operations etc.

The admission process is totally based on the CAT exam, A Combined merit list of 50% weightage will be given to the CAT score while calculating the merit 20% based on Academic Records and 30% based on Personal interviews.

Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University conducting admission for 118 seats for the 2026-26 session the last date to apply application form is 03 January 2026. To get admission to BHU MBA students must clear the CAT exam and a merit list will be prepared after the application forms close.

BHU offers MBA in many specializations Marketing, Human Resource Management, finance, Global Business Operations etc.

BHU MBA Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Admission to the MBA & MBA-IB programme is totally based on the CAT exam marks acquired by the candidates.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum 45 to 50% Marks in any one of them Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Law or Post Graduate Degree in any Specialization.

BHU MBA Entrance Exam

Candidates who wish to get admission to the BHU University MBA program must appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) Which is conducted by IIM 50% Weightage will be given to the test and the rest is based on academic scores and personal interview.

BHU MBA Fees Structure 

Banaras Hindu University also provides a Hostel for Boys and Girls students from other cities can stay in Hostels, and BHU also provides food facilities to the students. Hostel charges for Boys are 7500 Excluding mess charges for Girls 8500 Excluding mess charges.

BHU MBA Placement

BHU MBA average package  2026  according to the official website average package after MBA & MBA-IB highest package is 38 LPA INR and the average package is 11 LPA. As per last year's data, the Highest package given to the MBA-Agribusiness is 15 LPA and 7.20 LPA  during the 2026 Placement. A total of 170+ Students were placed and 70 companies participated during FMS BHU Placement 2026.

During BHU placement 2026, 40% of students were placed in the consultant sector and top recruiters were DHL, Wipro, Accenture, IDBI Bank, Indaimart etc.
