IGNOU offer Online BCA, MCA Programmes

IGNOU & School of Computer and Information Sciences offers online BCA and MCA degrees. The programmes were launched virtually by Vice-Chancellor Professor Nageshwar Rao and guests of Prof G Kannabiran, Director, NIT Trichy and Honor Prof PVGD Prasad Reddy, VC, Andhra University.

The program's primary goal is to "open a channel of admission for students who have completed 10+2 and are interested in computing/IT as a career," according to IGNOU. Dr. Akshay Kumar (MCA) and Dr. MP Mishra (BCA) discussed the programmes and job opportunities. Intrested students can apply through ignouiop.samarth.edu.in

"The MCA program's overall goal is to prepare students for rewarding careers in the software industry by fostering teaching and research in both core and emerging areas of the discipline. The programme focuses on providing students with a solid theoretical and practical foundation in current computer software development. It focuses on solving mathematical, communications, computing/networking and commercial problems using software technology," an official statement said.

"This Master's Degree Program is semester-based. The first year courses focus on developing theoretical and practical skills in core computer science subjects. The second year focuses on advanced courses and project work," it added.
