IGNOU has extended the deadline for taking the BEd and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) entrance exams until 24 April 2022

The IGNOU has announced IGNOU BSc Nursing and IGNOU BEd Entrance exam dates in a notice. There will be an entrance test on 8 May 2022 for admission to IGNOU's BSc nursing and BEd courses. According to the notification, "With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for registration for BEd and BSc Nursing (post-basic) entrance exam for January 2022 session is extended to April 24, 2022."

In order to be eligible to apply to IGNOU's BSc Nursing program, students must meet the following requirements. The students must have at least two years of experience in the field of general nursing and midwifery (GNM).

Students must score a minimum of 50 per cent in any of the following subjects on their bachelor's and master's degrees: sciences, social sciences, commerce, or humanities. Also eligible are those with a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with a specialization in mathematics and science or an equivalent qualification.  Registration for the exams started on 23 March 2022, and the deadline is 17 April 2022.

The exams will last two hours for both programs, and students who are interested in applying but have not yet applied can check the details on the official website @sedservices.ignou.ac.in/entrancebed/.
