Central Universities will reveal soon their new admission procedure

In December 2021, the central university will announce the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Entrance Test Admission details for the next academic year. University Grants Commission (UGC) set up a committee that submits a report to The Union Education Ministry for admission to 41 central universities, including Banaras Hindu University (BHU),Delhi University (DU),and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)
As suggested by National Education Policy(NEP) 2020, The Union Education Ministry looks into modalities for admission in CUCET to all the undergraduate courses at central universities.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) was not conducted for the academic session 2021-2026. Previously The Ministry of Education announced that the admission would be based on a common entrance test in the universities.
