PUCAT 2024: The Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University conducts the entrance exam every year for admission in PG courses. The name of this entrance exam is the Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT).

The university has only the offline application form. This exam is conducted at the university level so the candidate needs to visit the university campus, collect the application form and fill the application form.

When the applicant submits the form needs to recheck the form all information is correct and incorrect. Collect all the last qualifying exam documents. In the PUCAT 2024 exam, the university provides a multiple choice question and the time duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Within 2 hours the candidate needs to solve the question paper. After the result, the university invites the qualified candidate for counseling.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission

The university provides the only PG courses like MBA, MA, and M.Sc. but the university declares the eligibility criteria for the PUCAT 2024 admission.

If the candidate fills the application form for the MBA course then the minimum marks eligibility criteria is for the general category is 45% marks and for the reserved category required 40% minimum marks.

The applicant also required the graduation mark sheet from a recognized university. For the MA admission, the candidate required a minimum of 45% marks in any specialization. For admission in the M.Sc. course, the candidate needs a minimum of 50% marks in the B.Sc. course.

Application Form Of PUCAT 2024

The university has the offline application mode only so the candidate is required to visit the university's official campus and fill the form. It is required to submit the all-important documents with the form.

The university takes some application charges for form filling so the candidate also needs to pay the registration fee. The registration fee is not refundable. The university conducts the entrance exam once a year.

The university takes the PUCAT 2024 application charges categories-wise. The applicant will pay Rs-2,100/- if the candidate belongs from the general category.

For the SC/ST categories the university charge the registration amount that is Rs-1,050. For the additional paper, the candidate will pay the Rs-300/- extra charges.

Eligibility Criteria For The PUCAT Exam

For every entrance exam, the universities have well-defined eligibility criteria. If the candidate full fill the criteria then the candidate is eligible to fill the application form.

The candidate should be Indian. The candidate completes the 17 years of his/her age till the 31st December at the same session of form filling.

In the 12th class, the candidate must reduce the minimum 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. University offers 5% relaxation to the reserved category candidates.

If the candidate successfully submits the application form then before the entrance exam the university issue the admit card to the candidate. On the admit card the university print the important information like candidate name, roll number, examination center, etc. the university has only the English medium for the exam.

The Result Of The PUCAT Exam

Every year in June month the university declares the result on the official website. The candidate can check the marks by using the roll number and date of birth.

The university considers the roll number as login id and date of birth as the password. The University mentioned the total obtained marks in the report card. After the result, the university invites the candidate for counseling.

In PUCAT 2024 counseling, the candidate allotted the colleges. The university required some important documents at the counseling time that are-
