NIMCET 2024: Organizing Body of the NIMCET examination is the National Institute of Technology. It is the National Level Entrance Examination. This exam is for those candidates who want to take admission in the MCA courses. Overview Of NIMCET 2024

 Application Form Of NIMCET 2024

Candidates can fill the application form only through the online mode with the help of the Official site. The application form will be released on the official website.

The last date for applying the application is March 2024 tentatively. Attach the passport size photograph and signature with the application form.

There will be mandatory to upload the identity Proof such as Proof of Date of Birth (SSLC/ 10th Marks Card),all mark cards of qualifying examinations, Category certificates/Caste certificates/PWD Certificates, etc.

It is advised for taking the printout of the Application form. There is no necessary to send the print copy to the authority.

Application Fee
For General and OBC candidates, the NIMCET 2024 Application fee will be Rs. 2,200/- and for SC/ST the Application fee will be Rs. 1100/-. Candidates can pay the Application fee through a Credit/Debit card and Internet Banking.

Eligibility Criteria 

Nationality - Indian.
Qualifying Examination - Candidate should have B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons)/BCA/BIT of 3 years with the Mathematics/ Statistics subject. Candidates who have B.E /B. Tech degrees from the recognized university can also eligible for applying.
Minimum Marks - Candidate should have 60% marks or SC/St candidate should have minimum 55% marks.
Appearing Students - Students who are studying in the last year are also able to apply for the examination.
Candidates Of Open University - Students who are qualified for the B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/ BIT exam from open university are also eligible for applying for the NIMCET 2024 Exam.

Mathematics

• Algebra: Fundamental operations in algebra, expansions, factorization, simultaneous linear /quadratic equations, indices, logarithms, arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, determinants, and matrices.
• Set Theory: Concept of sets – Union, Intersection, Cardinality, Elementary counting; permutations and combinations.
• Probability and Statistics: Basic concepts of probability theory, Averages, Dependent, and independent events, frequency distributions, measures of central tendencies, and dispersions.
• Coordinate Geometry: Rectangular Cartesian coordinates, distance formulae, the equation of a line, and the intersection of lines, pair of straight lines, equations of a circle, parabola, ellipse, and hyperbola.
• Calculus: Limit of functions, continuous function, differentiation of function, tangents and normals, simple examples of maxima and minima. Integration of functions by parts, by substitution and by partial fraction, definite integrals, applications of definite integrals to areas.
• Vectors: The position vector, addition, and subtraction of vectors, scalar and vector products, and their applications to simple geometrical problems and mechanics.
• Trigonometry: Simple identities, trigonometric equations properties of triangles, a solution of triangles, heights and distances, general solutions of trigonometric equations.

Computer Awareness 

• Data Representation: Representation of characters, integers, and fractions, binary and hexadecimal representations, binary arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, simple arithmetic, and two’s complement arithmetic, floating-point representation of numbers, Boolean algebra, truth tables, Venn diagrams.
• Computer Basics: Organization of a computer, Central Processing Unit (CPU),the structure of instructions in CPU, input/output devices, computer memory, and backup devices.

Analytical Ability And Logical Reasoning 

• The questions in this section will cover logical situations and questions based on the facts given in the passage.

General English 

Questions in this section will be designed to test the candidates’ general understanding of the English language. There will be questions on the following topics:

• Comprehension, vocabulary, Basic English Grammar (like usage of correct forms of verbs, prepositions, and articles),word power, synonyms and antonyms, the meaning of words and phrases, technical writing.

About The Admit Card 

Admit card of NIMCET will be published on the official website by the authority. Candidates can download the NIMCET Official website 2024 admit card only through the Online mode. Authority will be not sent the admit card through the post.

If the candidate will not find the Admit card then they can send the email to the authority. Without the Admit card, the candidate will be not allowed in the examination hall.

The Result 

The NIMCET Result 2024 announcement date is expected in the month of June 2024 the first week. Candidate can see their Rank list only on the online mode. The counseling process of the candidate will be done on the basis of the NIMCET 2024 Result. Authority will be not sent the Separate rank statement to the candidates.
