Admission of NID DAT is 2- Stages Process.
Stage 1: NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims
The first Stage of the DAT examination will be organized in various cities.
Stage 2: NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Mains
This is the 2nd stage of the DAT exam. After qualifying in the first stage, the candidate able to apply for the Mains.

Who Can Apply For NID DAT 2024
- The candidate is eligible, who should have 20 Years' age on or before June 2024.
- Candidate should have the 12th examination in any stream with 60% from any recognized board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE, or Equivalent, which can apply the NID DAT examination.
Application Form Process
The application form of NID DAT will be available on the official site in the month of October to december 2022 without the late fee. Candidates can access the Application form through the online mode.
NID DAT 2024 Application Fee for General and OBC candidate is Rs. 2000 and for SC/ST/PWD is Rs. 1000. Candidates can pay the fee online or offline in both modes. Offline payment is done through the DD in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at New Delhi. Here we mention the steps for downloading-

Admit Card Of NID DAT 2024
NID DAT Admit card Prelims will be available in the month of January 2024 and Mains exam will be available in the month of May 2024.
Admit card contains the Exam schedule, exam venue and exam time, and important guidelines. Before download the admit card, the candidate should have to check all details which are mention on the admit card.
Syllabus
NID DAT syllabus will be updated by the National Institute of Design. There are some important topics from which questions in the NID DAT 2024 examination will be asked.
Topics are color terminology, inspiration & design development, mood, theme & color inter-relationship, design theory, elements & principles of design, natural & geometrical form, innovation in design, principles of composition, lettering, optical illusion, ornaments & motifs, memory drawing, usage of color in compositions, expression & emotion, etc.

The candidate needs the Email ID and Date of Birth for logging in to check the Result. A NID DAT Result will be declared on the official website. Rank will be decided according to the performance of the candidate in the examination.
