The University provides various courses such as UG, PG, and Doctoral. The SRM University conduct entrance tests. After qualifying the exam, Candidate takes admission in the month of March every year. Candidate can also apply for the courses in any of the campus located at Delhi-NCR, Amravati(Andhra Pradesh),Sikkim & Kattankulathur(Chennai). To Apply for MBA, Candidate must have appeared in SRMJEE(UG) entrance exam, Which is conducted by the University itself.

To Apply for MBBS & BDS Must score in NEET(UG) entrance exam.while for other UG medical courses SRMJEEH(UG) is conducted by the SRM University. SRM University also conducts STMJEEH(PG) to offers admission in various PG Medical Courses. The student got topper position in the School then 100% tuition fee concession and school second topper with 50% tuition fee concession are eligible for this scholarship.
The Scholarship Based on Sikkim Nationals Scheme.
Those candidate nominated by HRRD, Government of Sikkim then he is eligible for 25% of tuition fee concession. Those candidate admitting directly to the University then 10% of tuition fee concession.
