NEFTU also offers a scholarship based on 10+2 or Graduation, Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/Aptitude Test and candidates possessing exemplary skills in performing arts or literary skills and even sports. North-East Frontier Technical University also provides Merit-based scholarships who scored good marks in their academic studies. The main purpose of a scholarship is to basically give an opportunity for an extraordinarily talented student.

North-East Frontier Technical University Scholarship is very helpful for student who belongs to a weaker family and is not able to pay the amount for higher education. There is a 15% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship for girls students. There is a 100% tuition fee waiver to the toppers. There is a 30% tuition fee for the waiver as a scholarship for the economically weaker section.
