North Bengal University PhD Admission 2026-27: PhD is a Doctorate of Philosophy with a degree focusing on academics. The full form of a PhD is a Doctor of Philosophy. PhD admission is done based on the scores obtained in entrance exams such as UGC NET/CSIR UGC NET.  A PhD course is a three-year course, and students should take at most five to six years to complete the course.

Students who are going to apply for the PhD programmes in session 2026 must meet the university's eligibility criteria. Students who wish to apply for the PhD program must have a master's degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the requisite marks.
