DU UG Admission for session 2022

To make it simple and fair for all the candidates applying for admission to the Delhi University, the Delhi University Executive Council has announced that they will be taking the Common Entrance Test (CET). The admission to DU UG courses will be done based on the CET test for the academic session 2022.

In a meeting held on 10 December 2021, the DU EC announced that they would prefer the CUCET exam for admission to DU UG courses. The decision was taken after considering the recommendations of the nine-member committee set up by the Delhi University.

Delhi University Admission Procedure from 2022

• The admission to UG courses will be done based on the entrance test procedure.
• The authorities will get admission in the programs with less applicants.
• The Delhi University will distribute the admission for UG programs according to the requirements in different states as some states have seen a huge rise in the applications for admission.
• NTA will be conducting the CUCET Exam.

Many central universities like the JNU and JMI also consider implementing CUCET as their admission procedure.
