Applications for Ph.D. programmes invited by IIST Thiruvananthapuram

Applications for PhD programs invited by the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology(IIST) admission, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, starts in January 2022, for the exact date, student should visit official website. The PhD program applications are offered by the departments of avionics, aerospace engineering,chemistry, earth and space sciences, humanities, physics and mathematics.

The online submission of applications began on 24 November 2021. The last date for online submission of IIST PhD program applications for IIST-Funded and IIT Palakkad IHub Foundation (IPTIF) Doctoral Fellowship Scheme is 13 December 2021. The last date for online submission of applications for external fellowship is 20 December, 2021.

Note- These dates are tentative and could change depending on the pandemic Covid-19 in the country, mentioned in the official notification on the IIST website.

To apply for the IIST PhD program, the applicant should be an Indian citizen. They shall be below 35 years as of 13 December 2021 (age relaxation is applicable as per government rules).

Applicants who have a master’s degree in engineering technology, science, humanities, the management or social sciences can apply to the respective departments. The selection procedure will include an online screening test followed by an interview. The interview will be conducted through video conference mode.
