Andhra University is all set to roll out full-fledged online programmes

Andhra University has announced that they will start 2 of its courses as the full-fledged online learning option. BCom Accountancy and MA Sociology are the two courses that will be started towards online education. The university is looking forward to providing more courses in the online education mode for the students. Andhra University is among the few universities that have permission from the University Grants Commission(UGC) to provide an online education degree. These universities can provide a maximum of 3 UG level courses and a maximum of 10 PG level courses as online education by the approval of the statutory authority. 

According to the UGC's eligibility criteria, the institution that offers online education should have the NAAC score of 3.26 and above, and the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking should be between 1-100 for at least twice in the preceding cycles.

Andhra University is trying to add more of its courses to the list of online education so that students can study will this mode.
