Andhra Pradesh to get medical seats from Telangana

Kaloji Health University has announced that they will be sticking with the earlier used counselling process for admission to the academic year 2021-22. After this decision, the students belonging to Telangana will lose the opportunity to get admission to the university's medicine courses.

There were many disputes related to the admission procedure in the academic year 2020-21. Some of the students from the nearby states and regions of Andhra Pradesh sneaked into Telangana, taking the admission in place of the deserving candidates. Due to this, many candidates of the Telangana state, including the scheduled caste, tribals were very badly hit.

The admission procedure of the university was that they had 85% seats reserved for the tribal and scheduled caste students, and the rest 15% were the unreserved seats for the other category students. But now the university has announced that they will take the admission for all the students based on counselling procedure.
