Admission for the special round in Pharmacy & Engineering completed

Engineering and Pharmacy admissions counselling for the special round is over with the Technical Education Department allotting the seats, which is completing the admission process for the current academic year. Allotments are displayed on the official website ‘https://tseamcet.nic.in.’ Candidates who got the allotted seats have to pay the fee before 26th November and report to the allotted college; otherwise, they will lose the allotment.

In the special round, out of 14,919 students, only 689 students were not allotted seats for many reasons, while out of these, 4,674 students secured admission under Economically Weaker Sections Quota (EWS). Nine colleges got 100% seats filled, including one private college and eight university colleges. One college went without even a single admission.

After the counselling was completed, out of the 79,856 students, 22,679 engineering seats & 4,203 pharmacy seats remained vacant, and 4,426 pharmacy seats were available under the convenor quota. 726 seats remained vacant in the university colleges. The university officials stated that the huge number of vacancies was because there were few takers in JNTU Engineering College in Sircilla and Kakatiya University admissionOn 29 November 2021, Engineering classes are likely, to begin with, the Induction Day scheduled in all the colleges. Officials stated that 26th November is the last date to report in the colleges after a few days Induction Day will be held.
