Exam Pattern Of IIIT Hyderabad PGEE 2023

• The examination duration is 3 hours.
• Computer-based questions will be available in the question papers.
• Every correct answer scores one mark.
• There is no negative marking.
• Objective and Subjective questions will be asked.
• All questions will have come from these topics Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE) and Mathematics

Eligibility Criteria 

For M. Tech programmes:-

Students must complete BE/B. Tech/B. Arch/MCA/Master’s degree in Science/Mathematics/Computer Science/IT to apply.

For M.S by Research and Ph.D. programs:-

Those applicants are eligible to those who passed the M.Tech program. Applicants must complete a Masters in Social Science or Humanities for Ph.D. programs.

Examination Pattern

1. General Aptitude

From this section, the university gives the 45 questions. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

The University gives the 1 mark on each correct answer and deducts the .25 mark on each incorrect answer. The basic topics in exam papers are-

• Mathematics
• Logical Reasoning
• Basic Questions on Computers

2. Subject-Based  

In this section, there are basic subjects are included in the examination. In this section, the university gives 25 questions and 90 minutes of the time duration. The marks process is the same in both sections. The included subjects are- 

• Computer Science
• Mathematics
• Centre of Computational Natural Sciences and Bioinformatics
• Computational Linguistics
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Structural Engineering

Information About The Admit Card 

Students must carry the IIIT Hyderabad PGEE 2023 admit card to the examination centre with the admit card examiner who will not be allowed to enter the classroom.

The original document will be needed for the verification. After downloading the admit card exam holder must check all the details mentioned on the admit card. Applicant must carry the 2-3 printouts to the examination centre.

In the admit card all details are mentioned such as registration number, Roll number, subject code, Examination center, Exam duration, Email ID, Phone number, etc. Applicants can access their admit card before the examination starts through the official website.

Information About Result

The Result will be published in May 2023. Those students who attend the examination can only access the IIIT Hyderabad PGEE 2023 result on the official website.

While downloading the result applicants have to enter some details such as registration number, Roll number, Password, Date of birth, etc. According to the result marks merit list will be prepared. The rank card will be published along with the result in May 2023. If students' names are not shown on the merit list this means they have not qualified for the examination.

Merit List Information

Those who are selected in the merit list have to pay the admission amount after that admission process will be successful. Exam holder can pay their admission charge by online only. After the deposit, the amount of exam holder will get a receipt.
