Application Form 

BLAT Registration process: The candidate can obtain the application form from the official website of BHU.

BLAT 2024 application form will be released in the 2nd week of January 2024. Those candidates who willing to fill the BLAT application form 2024 will be required to register online at the BHU website.

Applicant must submit the application form along with the scanned copies of signature and photograph in the specified format.

After successfully submitting the application form. You need to pay the application fee through online modes such as Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

A student must keep in mind that the application form should be submitted deadline date. Otherwise, your BLAT 2024 application form will not be considered.

Notification Of BLAT 2024

BLAT Update: BHU will be released the notification of BLAT 2024 in the 1st week of February 2024 tentatively.

The application fee is Rs. 1500/- for general category students for SC/ST candidate will pay the Rs. 800/-

The Admit Card 

The BLAT 2024 Hall Ticket will be issued to the students via online mode in the first week of April 2024.

A student may download the admit card from the official website through the login credentials.

Aspirants are advised to download BLAT 2024 admit card on the scheduled date, otherwise, no duplicate admit card will be issued later on.

What Is The Pattern Of BLAT Exam 2024?

BLAT 2024 Exam Conducting way This exam will be announced by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in the 3rd week of January 2024.

It will be conducted in the Offline mode means a pen-paper style. The student must know the exam pattern before appearing in the examination.

You should be aware of the exam date, total mark, type of question. marking scheme and exam duration etc. 

Exam pattern BLAT 2024 is given here as per the indication and text of the official brochure for the academic year 2019-2024 published on the online website.

Exam Mode: The BLAT 2024 exam mode will be based on Pen and paper. The student will have to attempt objective type questions.

Exam Duration: The student will be given 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes for attempting the whole paper and section of the exam.

Type and number of Questions: In the exam, students will be asked question related to Current Affairs & General Awareness, Legal Aptitude, Mental Ability, and English Comprehension. Total questions will be 150 in the paper.

Total Marks: The BLAT 2024 exam paper will be 450 marks comprises four sections.

Marking Scheme: Applicants must keep in mind that there is a negative marking for each wrong answer attempt and 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer given. No mark will be given for any non-attempted answer.

Rule & Regulation

BLAT 2024 Guidelines:

• Every candidate must bring an admit card for the exam. Without admit, no student will be entered into the examination hall.
• A student is not allowed to keep a mobile phone, tablet, calculator, and an electronic device during the examination.
• If you found cheated in the exam, they will not write a BLAT 2024 exam in any case.
• A student must come to the exam center at reporting time. If you are coming late then you will not be entered into the examination hall.

What Is The Process Of BLAT Exam 2024?

• The question booklet will be different for each student and a separate answer sheet as an OMR sheet to mark the answer.
• A student must follow the instruction which is given on the backside of the booklet.
• A student required to write their Roll number, Question Booklet No and Question paper Set No in the given space on the answer sheet through only a ball pen(not a red pen).
• Applicants have to choose the right answer from the given multiple options in the booklet and mark the answer in the OMR sheet. Students use only black/blue pen to oval in the OMR Sheet.
• After complete the BLAT 2024 examination, Every student must return the OMR answer sheet as well as the question booklet to the Invigilator.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The student will have to pass the 10+2 level qualifying examination from any recognized state or national board of India
• The student will have to secure at least 50% marks in all subjects aggregate (qualifying examination)
• Students belong to the category of OBC will have to score at least 45% marks in all subjects aggregate (qualifying examination)
• In the case of SC/ST students, they will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in all subjects aggregate (qualifying examination)
• A student whose result is awaited of the 10+2 qualifying examination is also eligible to apply for BLAT 2017 (have to give proof of qualifying exam).
• Applicants who are looking for admissions to 5 year LLB program should not be more than 20 years of age (General category) and, in 22 years of age in case of (Reserved category).

BLAT Admit Card 2024

BLAT 2024 Admit card: The BHU will issue the BLAT 2024 admit card in the 1st week of April 2024.

The candidate will be able to get the admit card exam in online mode only. The candidate can download the BLAT admit card through their login credentials on the official website.

BLAT Admit card 2024 will state some important information related to the appearing student like the name of the candidate, signature, photograph, examination date and time, full address of the exam center.

Procedure To Download Hall Ticket Of BLAT 2024

• Students need to visit the university website at www.bhuonline.in
• Click on the link of download admit card link.
• After clicking students need to enter the registration number, and registered E-mail ID.
• After entering all details check it properly and then click on the submit button.
• On the computer screen admit card page will be open.
• Students will have to download the BLAT 2024 hall ticket and then take printouts.

Enter the registration number and date of birth and view the result card on the screen.

The student must take a printout of the result card for future reference. After the BLAT commencement, BLAT 2024 will be declared.

Marking Criteria 

• The general applicant has to carry 50% marks in the 12th standard.
• OBC students have to carry a minimum of 45% in the 12th standard.
• SC/ST Test taker must take 40% marks in 12th standard.

BLAT Cutoff 2024

About the Cutoff: The BHU will determine and announce the BLAT cut-off list soon after the declaration results.

Students here have to note that cut-off marks will the minimum cut-off marks needed to secure a seat in the BA LLB program of BHU. 

The BHU also considers the last cut-off marks in the BLAT merit list to secure a seat in the 5-year integrated law program of the university.

Students will also have to note that BLAT 2024 cut off will be different for each student category (Gen/OBC/SC/ST).

Details About The Merit List

The BLAT 2024 Merit list declaration of result by the last week of May 2024. The Merit list prepares according to seat availability, the total number of students, question difficulty, and other things.

Candidates can check the merit list of BLAT 2024 in PDF format only. The candidate should note that the BLAT merit list which contains the Candidate Name, Qualifying Status, AIR(All India Rank),Qualifying, Roll Number, Registration Number, etc.
