IGNOU DELED (Diploma in Elementary Education Distance Learning)

IGNOU provides admission to a diploma in elementary education (DELED) by distance learning mode. The duration of the IGNOU DELED course in the university is 2 years, and the applicants are required to complete the course within 4 years as the maximum duration. The application form for admission to the course will be released by the university on its official website.

As per the minimum requirement listed by the university for Diploma in Elementary Education Distance Learning admission, the applicants must complete their 10th or 12th class from an institution that has been recognized by the government. he/she must have experience in teaching in an elementary school then, the only student is eligible to apply for admission.

IGNOU DELED Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024

IGNOU does not provide applications for the IGNOU DELED course for the January 2024 session. After completing the admission process students will get the IGNOU DELED study material by post. Students will also be able to get access to the study material of the course through online mode.

• The Programme uses a three-step evaluation system components;
• Self-evaluation exercises within each subject area (No weightage).
• The use of assignments as a means of continuous evaluation is a component that carries a weightage of 30% for each course.
•  Term-end examination (TEE) has a weightage of 70% of the total weightage for each course.
