What is Physiotherapy?

• To apply for the Bachelor Of Physiotherapy (BPT) course students should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects.
• Those students who want to take admitted in BPT programs then they have to qualify for entrance exams like CET, GGSIPU CET etc.
• Students can apply for BSc in Physiotherapy on the basis of merit in 10+2 board exams. In this field there is no entrance exam for admission to BSc. 

Postgraduate Physiotherapy Courses

Eligibility Criteria for PG Physiotherapy Courses

Some of the requirements for admission to Physiotherapy postgraduate and doctorate programs are mentioned below-

• Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in BPT to secure seat in MPT courses.
• Exams such as All India Post Graduate Physiotherapy Entrance Test, CET for Master’s courses, JIPMER All India Entrance Exam, etc.
• It is mandatory for the students to complete at least 6 months as an intern in this field to make them eligible for MPT courses.
• For the students who want to pursue MSc in Physiotherapy admission on the basis of performance in graduation and Entrance exams conducted by the university respectively.
• For PhD programs students should score outstanding marks in their post graduation course followed by an entrance exam and interview for fellowship programs.
• For doctoral programmes, you will have to secure excellent marks in your post-graduation and clear entrance exams and interviews for fellowships.
